For over 25 years I have been creating jewelry inspired by my passion for life, natural wealth, organic things, culture and the traditions of Mexico. My creative process never stops, it may be on my latest trip or in the next watercolor brushstroke.
The concept of “Jewels of the Earth” is born from our use of silver and amber – Mexican raw materials – combined with natural stones from around the world. Each jewel is crafted by a team of women, true artisans who contribute their creativity and knowledge.
Each of our pieces seeks to inspire a reconnection with the earth, reminding us of those simple things that root us in life. Our collections are born from journeys where we find social and ecological causes that inspire us and that we support.
For us, luxury is something that, through a piece, brings you personal wealth and connects you with its origin, making you feel good; it is sharing the intimacy of the artist and his process of inspiration.
The Flora María brand is dedicated to the global woman who believes in her identity and carries a clear message of reconnection with the life that is born on earth.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Flora María is part of the “Talentos por El Triunfo” team, a group of people interested in supporting the conservation of the Cloud Forest of the “El Triunfo” Biosphere Reserve in southern Chiapas, the last stronghold of many species in Mexico, including the impressive quetzal and the mysterious peacock bass.
We also support the female coffee growers of the Metik Group; 35 women who grow high-quality organic coffee on the slopes of this same reserve. They have the desire to be self-sufficient and to get out of the market system where they are the ones who earn the least in the production chain.
These women want to train to open their own coffee shop. We understand and share this dream and we are excited to help them achieve it.
We want to connect and share our work with the women of the Metik group, therefore 10% of the sales of the CAFÉ collection go directly to them.

Flora María Sánchez is a jewelry designer whose passion for life, natural wealth and natural splendor are reflected in her 25 years of experience and her tireless work to showcase the culture and traditions of Mexico. She is always in a process of constant travel and learning, using her talent to support social and ecological causes.
At Flora María we are committed to inspiring and connecting with the earth, telling stories that emerge from the natural world to take the form of fine jewelry.
We use Mexican amber and silver as raw materials, which is combined with colorful natural stones from around the world. These organic designs are handmade by a team of women, true artisans whose knowledge and experience are as great as their creativity.
Our jewelry is available in six of our stores, and through a network of distributors worldwide.
